COURSE DISCRIPTION

Sprint Course- Start April 13th 2008 7:30 AM

SWIM 500M
The Swim Course is the most beautiful swim in Texas. Aquarena Lake is very clear with alot of aquatic life, so be prepared! We will be starting with a time trail start (one person every three seconds) by age grouping. Requests were made to ask for swim times for time trail placement. Last year the start went smooth and we think it is most fair to be started by age group. The course will be approximately a 400 meter strait shot from the start of the lake, then have a 170 degree turn and 100 meter stretch to the finish. Please No Swimming in the lake before or after the race! You will be disqualified! This warning is for your saftey and in respect of our venue.

TRASITION

will be a flat out and back course on grass and side walks. There will be at least one water stop per mile depending on the weather and heat index. Please do not run on Aquarena Drive, use grass path and side walks! You will be disqualified! This request is for your saftey.
