2007 EVENTS SERVICES |
Nicholas Carl Seidel USAT SMW Regional Board (Elect) Nick created Seidel Productions (SP) to chase his dream making the events he thinks are awesome. Fortunately, after a long wait, Nick has finally raced one of the races he has been involved with planning for the past seven years. Aquarena was one of his first races back in 1999 and now he raced again in 2007! Great Fun! SP creates races that are unique, challenging, and fun, we wish we could race them all our self's, but someone has to run the show. Nick was an avid runner in high school and still holds an age group record for the Half-Marathon: 1:10:01. Nick finally evolved into a triathlete in 1999. Competing in his first ultra-distance (2.4M S, 112M B, 26.2M R) at the Great Floridian Triathlon 2000: 10:41.51. To his surprise this race was the National Long Course Championship and he found out he won his age group. In 2001 he won the Texas State and South Midwest Championships. While on the SWT/Texas State Triathlon Club, Nick traveled with his teammates to College Nationals in 2002 and 03. As he served a 2 1/2 year presidency for the club, they received second place as a small club at Club Nationals 2003 in Boulder, CO. During the peak of his triathlon career in 2002, he traveled to Nice, France with Team USA for the World Long Course Championship. Nick started his event planning career by assisting in the SWT Sprint Triathlon 2001. He instantly fell in love with the stress, quos, and extreme sense of accomplishment after directing a race. Nick plans to slowly add to his lists of events while always focusing on the quality and athlete attention. Past Events 1999 Games of Texas, Soccer Venue- Steering Committee
